The Braindeads would no longer qualify under the old 8/10. That's what the whole things about. Not safety. Putting Braindeads in trucks to keep freight rates down. Chock the truck full of cattleprods and idiot lights, and then recruit a Neanderthal to hold the steering wheel.

This industry's version of participation awards. So that the loser can hold his head up. And the winners are punished f0r winning.

Yea, because most mega fleets were already on e logs- so this was a direct attack at the small carrier / owner operator model.

Wether we need them or not, well I got my opinion but the fact is the rule making was targeted at small carriers, who make up the majority

ELD means less money at our company.
Can't outrace the upcoming NW snow storm with an ELD without getting tagged. If it's clear now and the well rested driver can head east to outrun the storm, but his ELD says he has to sit, then he could get stuck for days.

It's time to get rid of HOS entirely, enforce the traffic laws and use a common sense for all approach to cut down on accidents.

The HOS are there to enslave people and keep them tied up in knots so they don't have time to provide resistance to the people that are creating the global slave plantation.

By eliminating the federal income tax and all it's burdensome record keeping "requirements" and all its loopholes that favor the mega carriers, the playing field can be leveled for the little guys. When the Swifts of the world can not get huge tax subsidies, then hopefully they will cease to exist and it will create more business opportunities for OO's.

If Chuck Schumer gets his way you can add speed limiters and mandatory sleep apnea testing to list of unnecessary regulations that we will have to live with. E-log mandate was just the camel's nose under the tent.

Elogs are almost here, we need elogs.
Look at the posters on here crying that if they’re away from home they should be driving and not sitting in a truckstop for 10 hours.
That means they want to drive 20 hours a day...

We need stricter training. We need public awareness. We need better roads. We need less harassment. We need less tax.

So you can get a CDL in 10 days and that's ok. But some one who's driven for 20 years can't drive 13 hours to make it home?

    It is the *PRINCIPLE!*
