I would kill to update the gps, crummy as it is, as the build date for the map is 09. Pretty old for a 12 truck. The dealer denies it came with a gps lol. How to update? usb port is available but how to get the right data on my stick...that sounded funny

I do know of the GPS system you are talking about. This is one of those grey areas that really isn't supported too much at the dealer level. I think you may have the unit that is actually made by Pana-Pacific with Rand McNally name on it. If it is, the map updates are suppose to be free for life. You need a laptop with Rand McNally "Dock" software downloaded to it, then the lap top is connected to the GPS device with the USB cable that was suppose to be included with the device. (any USB cable will work though). You should be able to get what you need from here; http://www.randmcnally.com/support/article/updating-gps-software
