    Having hauled a bit of crude in his neck of the woods, and remembering how steep some of the pitches were, I would probably want it set to go to 1900 at least. Not for performance from the engine, but once in awhile it really helps to have a bit more rpm to catch the next gear without ending up below 1000 rpm. That's just me though.
