Factory "SmartNav" Garmin Map Update

I have a 2014 386 with the Nav option. I don't use it anymore because my usb port was trash when I bought the truck. When it quit working I bought a 7" Garman Deisel Nav that works great. What I think would be your solution is to erase the present program before you try to install the update. That is what I have to do to update my Garman Deisel that I bought at Pilot.
