People here in Virginia that give the test don't have a CDL license,or know how to drive a truck at the DMV. Tell me that makes any sense
I don't get why the school would allow you to graduate before even passing the test. I know its all about money and putting more butts in the seats but you clearly weren't ready. Doesn't seem like the best school. How do you practice between tests if you have been done since February? You obviously need some extra practice but it doesn't sound like you get any. You're not alone though. There was a girl in my school who was there for a year before I started, and was still there 2 months later when I got my license. She failed 7 or 8 times by the time I left. Who knows how many more times afterwards.
Are the mistakes you're making obvious, or questionable in your view? You said your instructors told you that you should have passed at least two of those times...have you been tested by the same person all six times? I'm just wondering if it could be the tester, and not necessarily you..?
So you were inside the box but only by a half inch? Inside is inside. What's the written parameter in Massachusetts? Is it whatever the trooper decides?
Can you go to a different DMV office to test? Might be a personality conflict. You can also apply to a trucking company and just attend their school. You'll probably be fast tracked through the school since you're obviously competent at everything except parallel parking. You're probably good a that also, but the trooper has it in for you; wouldn't be the first time that's happened.
Chinatown, problem here in MA is that the State Police oversee the tests whether on the schools property or at the state police testing grounds. There are not many of them around Boston and you would have to bring your own truck with a licensed driver. The trooper gets 100.00 for each test and some of these troopers will do 7 to 8 tests in a day. Parker in Avon charges 300 for each additional test after the first one. 100 goes to the trooper. Nice payday. I am with you, go to a company school and get fast tracked. He graduated and probably has his certificate.
Go to a company school and you will have your CDL in 3 weeks. A certain company school in West Valley City, Utah comes to mind.
You might want to go sign up with one of these companies for their paid training, it'll be faster than waiting til next year. The only thing i had issues on was my pretrip.i missed 17 out of a possible 23. I almost failed completely because I got flustered on the brake test. Took me three times to get it. Afterwards the testing official said he was doing his hardest to not laugh his ### off at me. My parking maneuver i only have to complete 2 of the three, i did the offset, and the alley dock. Nailed both without issue. I got a point taken off on my drive test because he said i didnt slow down fast enough for the emergency stop, and i got a point taken off because i knew the road sign i passed was a speed limit sign but the state recently change the speed limit on that section of road. I said it said 65 when it actually said 70.
