It's my understanding unless you are having a life threatening event the Examier is to give you a 3 month card, so you can get the required tests done...

I let the teacher know already about the failed physical and I think the school partners with Concentra. I'm gonna give CVS a go tomorrow though and see what they think.

I thought a part of whole ME register is that it would preclude Dr Shopping, that the information is entered into a database.

    Am I wrong about that?

DataBase at this time only tracks the providers...that's my understanding but it's a moving target FMSCA has a hotline number if you are denied...

As it's been said, your health is way more important than the license at this point, get off ALL stimulants and see what happens, but on the other end, if that's the only reason you failed you'll probably be fine somewhere else. I had a doc go douche on me once and gave me a 3 month card because of blood pressure, just went somewhere else. That was after the change with the doc's being registered and everything.

Looks like you can..as long as OP was honest as to why he failed the 1st exam.

[drivers can get a second opinion, as long as they provide a full and honest history to their medical examiners and do not cross the line into illegal “doctor shopping.”]

I wasn't thinking 2nd opinion as much as denied at one, and going somewhere else an getting approved, as if the first never happened.

You shouldn't share that info with the school or anyone else.

"second opinion" is just a kinder, gentler way of saying I'm going to someone else :)

That article implies it would be illegal to go to another Dr as if the 1st never happened.
