Failed my DOT Physical

Were you in an accident that resulted in you getting wipe lash?

 

You took 200 of these pills a day?? I think the largest dose is 10MG, that's what I remember taking!

 

Did you take your prescription with you to your appointment today?

 

Sounds like it'll all get cleaned up easily. Pain meds don't do much for me and they tried all sorts of stuff including morphine. Some, as another poster said should be for short term use only.

Ask your doctor about this because some of the ones I quit taking had some nasty withdrawal symptoms.

 

Well if you quit taking it today, get Physical soon, and then decide you were wrong and still need to take it. Nobody’s business. I’ve got an old bottle of codiene, from a tooth being pulled. Took 1, still have 5 left. It’s a legal script. They say to throw them away. Yeah right!! I’m keeping in case I get a toothache again, far away from home. Alieve has worked very good in the past for a toothache, nothing else worked. Flexeril, being a muscle relaxer, is probably helping prevent muscle spasms caused by a pinched nerve. Maybe a second opinion on your neck injury? A Chiropractor, along with a medical Doctor?,or better yet, a Osteopathic Doctor. A D.O., they use both approaches. The longer your neck stays out of alignment, the harder to correct. Leading to natural fusion or possibly bone spurs. Ofcourse I don’t know, but have seen a few different neck issues. My wife, whiplash, my Mother bone spurs, and a good friend just has disc surgery. Staring down at a hand held device, they say is causing Neck spurs in young people.

 

Based on what you are telling us, why do you label your post, “Failed my DOT physical”? Did you do the full physical today? Did you give a urine sample? If the ME is just requiring documentation from your Dr., I’m confused on how you “failed” today?

Just curious if you have had any other recreational drug use within the last few years? Any other accidents, DUI’s and/or speeding tickets?

I don’t understand why Flexeril at night. While sleeping your muscles usually relax. While in deep REM, muscles all but disconnect from the brain. I have a condition that makes my muscles contract during REM. As a result, I sometimes act out my dreams. It happened again last night. I was kickin ###. Apparently I’m a pretty bad dude,(but only in my dreams Lol). Wife has to take cover and wake me up. It’s not funny, I’ve already hit her once, thrashing around, hollering and cursing.They claim a certain medication helps. Haven’t gone there yet. The less meds the better. Maybe try getting off the Flexeril. No medicine is good long term, unless absolutely needed.
