    Old is a state of mind;
I forgot to add in the previous post,
where I added something i forgot to say in the first post.

I bought a "Teeter Hang-ups" inversion Table. Use it twice daily.
How do I manage that? I have a Malamute and a Rottie that I
leave outside once in morning, and once when I come home.
Each time I pass thru my 18 X 20 sun-room/office that has this table.
So as they are outside - and can't try to wash my face, (Hi Dad,
Whatcha doin'?) I get 3 minutes alone to stretch. VERY relaxing,
sometimes even avoids a trip to the Chiropractor, as I have learned to twist and arch so it pops the problem areas back in place. My neck pain is always less, as it takes that 15 Lb. useless melon and gravity stretches the neck, too. I do my neck side to side stretch here, too.Worth every penny, and wish I had started doing it 10 years sooner. I'm 250, and 6"1" and it adjusts so your size and weight is unimportant, you can balance horizontal if you wish, (not if your 650 lbs, of course.) If you ever thought of doing it; just buy it.

In what way are antidepressants related to driving impairments? Those drugs have been around for decades. I've known people on them for decades straight. I've never heard anyone suggest they were related to unsafe behaviors.
On the other hand however....there is credible scientific evidence that using OTC pain medication like Tylenol or Advil actually reduces risk inhibition. Yes...taking an Aleve is likely to help you make a more risky choice than not taking it. Now would you be even more a hazard if you were in agony? Probably.
But still. I'd be interested to know what connection you see between Prozac and cdl risk...

Legalities aside I'd like to know what connection there is between smoking a joint on your 3-day weekend and driving risk.

Of course anybody with half a brain knows there's none, but due to the fear of the potential of the inmates running the asylum, elected stupid people have to go through their chicken little routine to convince even stupider people that someone has their best interests in mind.

I never saw the show. Not a fan of the "zombie apocalypse" genre.

I just watched a half hour of "Best of Negan" videos.

Might have to find the series online.......

I don't have a problem with it at all, but some trucking companies do. Some drivers that have posted on this forum were sent home from various trucking company orientations when they disclosed they were on anti-depressants. People talk too much and talk themselves right out of a job.
Like the guy that posted on here recently, "Have you ever smoked weed?" "Yes, I tried it back in high school." "Go home, we can't hire you."
Why would someone disclose they smoked some weed back in high school?
I tried it years ago, in the military, Southeast Asia. Didn't like it; made my mouth and tongue feel like rubber. Haven't touched it since, but would never reveal that to an employer or potential employer.
I didn't reveal I was on BP meds, because didn't want a 1 yr. card vs. a 2 yr. card.

That’s absolutely right. Looking at all the questions on the physical form. Some of the questions are rediculous. Everyone in America could answer yes to at least a dozen or more. The whole thing deters Drivers from seeking preventive health screenings. I understand it’s a Safety thing. But the fact that there’s no clear cut guidelines on issuing a card, and leaving the grey area of Doctors interpretation, is wrong. Like everything it’s a Liability issue. In this case, I believe the Government puts the burden too much on the Doctor. If a Drivers within clear cut guidelines, the Doctor shouldn’t be held Liable. Same issues have been seen in Tax reform. Tax preparers are held Liable. Mortgage and Real Estate reform, and Bancruptcy reforms. Any of these things are more difficult because the Industries are concerned with Liability. You have to have people who are knowledgeable, know the rules, and aren’t afraid to operate under them, within the Law. And the Law should be clear, no grey areas.

Turn the clock back 50 years, throw out all the rules and regulations instituted by people who have no clue. Better Country and Trucking
