Man when I got my CDL thus part of the test was way easy... As I started to physically do and explain what I was doing the tester just asked me "What pressure for governor cutout, how many psi can be lost on leak test, when do buzzers come on, when do valves pop?" I answered the questions and he said, "Very Good, let's go for a drive." And no this wasnt at a CDL mill, it was 3rd party Tester who was a retired DOT officer.
BigBob410 Thanks this. -
Thanks everyone. I'm confident that I'll ace it next time if I just make sure to emphasize that I am waiting until the governor cuts out.
Kinda demoralizing, but it felt good this morning when the class B drivers came by my office wanting me to get the a couple empty trailers off the lot so they could keep working, since they don't know how. Reminds me that it was worth spending the time to learn everything.Farmerbob1 and Kyle G. Thank this.
