Are you tied down where you live? if you could relocate the company I work for would probably give you a chance. A week or two with a trainer and they would probably put you in a truck. We are in central Illinois, but the trucks park at the yard over the weekend.
Which is good since that means you get home every weekend, also trucks are worked on over the weekend so you lose very little work time for truck maintainence. PM me if you would be interested and I will give you pertinate information.

I will check them out Slim.
In my cercomstance would it be best to just say I failed the test ( as I previously just stated that the training didnt work out ) to be up front about it ?
Bc so far the places I tried with seemed ready to hire me till they called the last company . Then suddenly called me back to say no deal.

He said he hit trailer. No damage though.

me thinks there is probably more to the story, but if you're just out of training & have already managed to get an overweight ticket and backed into another trailer (especially while being scrutinized & presumably encouraged to goal), Id suggest a new line of work. There are too many steering wheel holders already in this industry & evidence suggests you're not giving the job the respect it deserves.

Personally, a job wouldn't be my problem.

Mine would be making bail. After I kicked my trainers ### at the scale I got a ticket at.

Trainer? What trainer? Doesn't sound like he had one to me.

What ever you do, do it FAST.
It's called "beat the paperwork". Since you are new you don't know all the inn's and outs yet.
After they proses you paper work, might beat the state to the punch. Then leave it alone.

I agree, are you telling us you are the first one to ever fail the backing test? Something doesn't smell right here.
