Failed prehire drug screen

I had a positive for THC when working as a mechanic. I knew that this was impossible so I protested for a 2nd analysis. I told them if it came back positive I'd pay for it and quietly pack my tools... 2nd labs came back positive too???? For the Advil and AZO Standards I had been taking for a uninary infection. Seems numerous (as posted) over the counters can give false results, especially if mixed. If your clean then get on the advice given QUICK! Once your in a system its a pain in the ##$ to get out. Try getting something off your credit report because of a stolen identity scam... Arrrrrrrgggg!

 

The problem is: if it was put on his DAC, even though the second test reported a NEGATIVE, USIS WILL NEVER remove the record of the positive from his DAC, because they ONLY have to verify the original record was reported as a POSITIVE and DO NOT have to verify it's accuracy.

 

Captluckyduck, False positive drug test results are common.Do request a retest at a later date.Why? Because there are certain drugs and medical conditions that will contribute to a false positive result for THC.There are over 250 different drugs,both prescription and non-prescription that will or can effect your test.Now, a clinic or other health care provider might take a urine sample for testing,most send them to a state certified lab.You do have rights to contest the negative results.Your state goverment website will lead you to their health site which oversee's companies that are licensed in your state and whom are in good standing(qualified).Do make sure that your speciman has been sent to a provider that is or was in good standing.Just like your DAC or DMV record you have rights to correct any misinformation.Same goes with your credit history.Here is a simple list that can provide a false positive for THC.
1.Dronabinol(Marinol)
2.Ibuprofen(Avil,Motrin,Exocedrin,IB.Ketoprofen(corudius KT)
3.Kidney infection(kidney disease,diabetes,liver disease)also Naxproxen,(aleve)
4.Promethazine(Phenergan,Promethegan)
5.Riboflavin(B-2,Hempseed oil)
Clear up all this and get on with trucking,you will.Don't let the system deter you.

But there was a case a couple years ago, USIS reported a truck driver had been convicted of murder. He was fired from his job.
Come to find out; someone with the same name, different race, different SSN, different DL# held the conviction. But USIS refused to remove the information, because SOMEONE with the same name HAD been convicted. It mattered NOT to them they had the wrong person. It only mattered that the "name" in the information was "correct". Driver sued, judge dismissed the suit. Who has the money to appeal the decision? The driver didn't.

That's like this situation:

I JUST FAILED A DRUG TEST I do not do drugs. I have been having dental work done since Nov. been on pain meds of and on. Whta do I do now. I have my new career ruined before it even starts. I have a family member who does not do drugs he always have false postives. Could it have anything to do with that???? The company sent me for another test to see what it says I paid for it $40.00. The first company test cost me $150. before I pay another $150.00 to have the spilt ran. I just dont understand. Feel Like I'm screwed. Have not done anything wrong. Besides the fact that I have $8000. invested in all this and all chances of ever getting back with the X was also blownout of the water!!!!! Even throu he knows I dont smoke.
WHAT DO I DO????????

 

Did you tell them that you were on a medication?
Did you show them the pill bottle label?

I had to get proof from a dentist one time by the secretary giving me a copy of the prescription. After that I was fine.

 

yes I did I forgot to mention in my earlier post I was on paxil I also told them that. Its Panther they dont care a positve is a + to them. Even thou I was only attending Orent. not offically hired they have reported it to my dac report already. I paid for everything they have not covered anything. What can I do.????????????I feel so humilated.
