Failed Random Need Advice

Looks like I wont have to work for the rest of my life then.

 

Eating poppy seeds will throe what is called a false positive on a drug SCREEN, which in turn they will immediately do a drug TEST to negate the false positive is my understanding.

 

The whole town does not know yet nor does my church or children's school. My fear is that it will get out sooner or later. Our entire office knew by the time I returned to the yard. If the results are not in this morning, it's been 9 days now, I might get arrested for loitering since I plan to sit in my doctors office waiting room until I get some answers. Yes I am claiming innocence but so does everyone which is why my first step to resolution is getting this test done. It is going to be a very long and expensive process involving lawyers and toxicologists to clear my name on a federal DOT level. They make it this difficult because they know that most drivers, innocent or guilty, will just give up. It's not fair to us to have to accept these results that have human error possibilities all over it with no recourse for us. These drug screens have a 99.9% success rate yet there is no recourse for those of us who fall into the 0.1% category. I hopefully will be posting the results today.

 

This is an excellent way of how this could have happened with one exception. I dont drink alcohol or hang out in bars either. I am not an anti alcohol person just dont like the feeling alcohol gives a person. My wife and most of my relatives drink but gettin drunk is not my thing. I am always the DD.

Wish it was that easy. A hair follicle test will not negate a DOT urine test. Once this step is complete my attorney and personal physician will order a toxicology test which will hold up in court and negate the DOT test. Going to doctors office now should be back on shortly.
