Failed the CDL test, So now what

    Well I fail the CDL test

    Did great on the pre-trip
    Aced the straight and offset backing (offset was a lil ugly but no points)
    Was confident about the driving portion
    I failed at the alley dock.
    (IMO I don't think 2 hr a week is enough time to practice)

    So, I might have to go with company training. I was looking at TMC because I see alot of trucks around Tampa but I heard they are very choosy on who they hire. I don't wanna put all my eggs in the TMC brasket, So my question is do anyone knows any good company to train? I was think local or regional?

    You can find a company that will train you however it will come down to the standard of driver your put with bottom line is you have to be competent enough to pass the practical driving test regardless of who trains you. Did the Dept of transport give you a copy of the driving test assessment? Check over what points you had deducted for and work on those attributes.

    Alley dock is all in the set up.

    And it's actually pretty bullet proof if it's shown to you, and explained to you correctly.

    Well, then try for trucking company cdl school.
    Several hire in Tampa area.
    Shouldn't have to list you attended Sage, since you were not an employee.
