Actually, I am still a beancounter. I'm just working on leaving the office job 9-5 life. It's over-rated.
Not if I woulda gotten the last couple questions right.
No, the test quits here too. CelticWolf has a good point, I did technically fail by 3 questions.
I'm with you, thanks for the kick in the ##$%, I know I needed it.
I wasn't lacksadaisical, I simply thought I had the info from the book down. Apparently I didn't have it where I needed it. Trust me, the last title I ever want to have is "steering wheel holder".
I appreciate where your coming from though, and I appreciate you taking the time to give me a much needed kick in the butt.
Bottom line is I learned a valuable lesson, and I'm not going to make the same mistake (over-confident and under-prepared) twice. Thank you all for the pick-me-ups and the butt-kickin's, I needed them both and they are greatly appreciated.

celticwolf, Lilbit, wicked and 1 other person Thank this. -
come on that test was so easy I took it twice
-
And with a little more "practice"...headed for #3!
-
I don't know how the test is in your
state, but in my State it's pretty much a test of common sense with some general knowledge involved... I missed 2 questions in all. -
Word up when it is a computer test that stops when you miss a question that means you will fail if you continue. WHAT they might not have told you is that when you come to a question you are "unsure of" you can skip it. You might never have to answer it if you get enough right and if you get through the test and still need more to finish, it will just go back to the ones you skipped which by now you might know.
No one told me that and my class first test of the CDL, none of us passed all of them. Most of the questions in the beginning we had never covered in class. Instructors just said, "must have gotten a unusually hard one!" Next time while waiting someone else waiting was talking about how you can skip! Wish they had told us! lol So the second time I skipped and got enough right it never even came back to it... -
That might differ state to state. Here in Georgia u can't skip questions and u answer them all.
