Just like they told us in school, if you are not sure about the answer use the skip button, mabey in your state they do not have them when you take permit tests. Anyway wait till roadtest/skills/pre-trip and not in that order comes up I had more butterflies than I can remember. I had an instructor early on in school tell me and everyone else, slow down whats your hurry, the brake is your friend, slow it down a little think about what you want to do next, single down.double down, turn. stop. Point is no matter what you are doing, skills, road, pti, or just driving slow it down take your time there is no time limit yet. There is a web site I think it is www.cristcdl.com lots of good pre-test stuff from permit stuff to endorsements if you can get 90 plus on those then you can pass your state stuff. Also when I went to school they gave out PTI dvd's to watch at home, any of you other posters from Illinois knows what a ball breaker our wonderfull state is about PTI, not a bad thing in hindsite I guess. Study and practice you should be o.k. if you fail a part so what you aren't the first and you won't be the last. I failed skills the first time, got to take it again that day, and passed then passed road, but I took to long of a pull-up on my angleback so the tester gave me extra points which meant I needed to get a 3 on my stop. I get out and look he tells me this I say o.k. and blow it I stop dead center on the line for 3 and 6 tester says leave it there you are done. Judgement call on his part could he have passed me then, ya, but he didn't, was I P.O. yes, I should have not taken extra long pull-up my fault not his, my instructors, and fellow students at the time said I didn't need it, I looked good, but nerves got the better of me, so it happens trust your gut and keep practicing all of it . Good Luck

Congrats , bean. Don't worry, the first test you take in school will really humble you. Its a gen knowledge test on day 1 and you'll miss more on it than any test throughout. Good luck and pm me for my email add. Its a lot easier to get ahold of me.

confucious say: man with four balls, can not walk.:biggrin_25523: so, when the govenor has no psi to kick in the u now what, logically you have an airbrake problem?. I had to give up anything that got n my way for the good of learning. I am a defensive player and serious to know all the answers, in time.
