    i did some research,to get out of nyc i need escorts and road survey,except nj and ga all other states require one escort for a 12'7'' wide load.did the math after all expenses i probably put $3500 in my pocket,for some is not a lot of money but for me is worth learning how much to ask for future loads.

    I am surprised you need a route survey for that size of load. Never had to do a route survey and definitely not familiar with them. Who can you hire to do one, just an escort company and how does it work?

    any oversize load coming out of nyc needs a survey,it costs $270.high wide and heavy is a local company who does that.

    If you have tree tarps carry them with you to Florida. You can get $2 per mile coming out hauling trees.

    no i dont but thank you for the info,i dont go to florida that much but last time i did i d/h all the way to chattanooga tn for a another o/s back north and avereged my $2 a mile.
