ya I see a few 400lb people slowly sliding out of a truck with a handicap sign, and climbing back into it with 20k calories of food for lunch. I call bs. I know what they doing.

 

Isn't temp tag for irp plate issued only for 45 days ?!
Leo can easily call dmv of the state of the temp tag and find out if its fake or not ... During regular hours though

That right there is way I never tell a driver how to skirt a scale or tweak a log book..95% of them can't keep their pie hole shut

Maybe the driver in OP's story had great intentions and just helping a fellow out, then OP comes to an open forum and shares it with everyone.

The driver was just talking to 1 person, not tiktoking/youtubing it to the world.

I have read this website and others since I was 19, eager to learn the dos and don'ts before I even got my CDL. Picked up a lot of smart tricks that way, so I am thankful for those who shared great advice.

My favorite one, is using google maps to view the address and using satellite view. It's like I've been everywhere before. Also use the street view to check the height of bridges if I am unsure about them.

I won't go through the trouble of printing fake bills, but it is a smart idea, good for that driver.

We gotta work magic to make it happen out here, with the lack of parking and more places turning us away everyday... Some days I wish the dang truck drove itself already...
