Today I got a recording from a broker, "the caller is not accepting calls from this number"
Last week I tried to call a different broker about a shipment and, he knew what I had done for him from my phone number.
Seems as if the brokers are using caller ID technology to have there computer's bring your information up from the second you call.
On two separate occasions I have used my fake phone number app to call about shipments and got a surprisingly different answers on postings.
Driver's it might be worth it to place a fake number app on your phone before calling brokers

What do you say if you agree on a load and the broker asks, "why is your phone # not matching to what we have down for your company here?" Or match what's in the mc# database. ?
I have them calling me now, requesting my services with solid money. No more of this song and dance nonsense. You want me or don't you? If we are going to do the song and dance every time I will find my own customers.PPDCT Thanks this. -
So why continue to deal with them? -
