I'm afraid to ask what company would hire a driver like that.

Hard to find work with a felony..even a stupid one,but it wasnt old enough, for most companies to overlook it.

    Here's my stupid moment share:

When I did my road test for my class 1, I had just re-hooked to the trailer and was getting out to verify the coupling. I decided that a swan dive out the door would be quicker than the 3 point contact method. Just glad it was a Volvo and not a real truck like a C500. That extra 2 feet in height could have made things a lot worse. Still passed though.

On my re-certification, I hooked to a tlr and did not tug, ended up pulling away and dropping the tlr off the back of the truck in the yard. The safety guy I thought was going to have a heart attack from laughing, he has known me for years and knows the way I am and he said the expression on my face was totally priceless. To this day I think he only passed me so he could remind me of it all the time. I have been doing this for many years now, I learned from my grandpa and got my experience running his truck with him in Alaska. So needless to say it was a kick in the pride and a dose of humility. Never get complacent.

Go over to American building supply and apply to great place to work at. They're always hiring. We donate all of our older day cab trucks from Cali to Denver since it's closer than any other state. You never know you might get one of my old trucks :) hah

If FedEx is plan-x, I'd hate to see what your plan-z is.

TBH, FedEx it self is not bad, There is decent contractors out there that take care of their drivers and there is decent drivers that know how to handle the load and their truck. The problem is those are few and far between.
