False Swift Start

    Mysticguido, that pattern you have pictured there is a standard 9 speed tranny that is in all of Swifts trucks. It's a standard H-pattern just like a car. 1,2,3,4 with the range selector in the low position (flipped down), then flip the selector up and it's 5,6,7,8. Low gear is basically only used during backing manuevers for pull ups and tug testing the 5th wheel.

    The 13 speed is similar to the pattern that BJnobear posted next to the one you copied, except that the low range isn't split.

    I know, I was having a brain fart and wasn't seeing it in my head right... Yesterday, I went to a truck sales office on My way to drop off some stuff for My Mom. I stopped in and asked if I could do a test drive on one of their trucks.. One of the sales Persons took Me out and we started talking about Trucks and some companies. I hit every gear just right and then his said try a float the gears.... Just like butter till I missed the last 2 when down shifting...
