Yes I am the compliance consultant, but I have yet to have faced anything quite like this before, I guess I've gotten lucky. So I'm just trying to find all the resources that I can to take to the company to address this and guide them back into complete compliance if possible. Unfortunately my observations lead more to the fact that they're more concerned about the money they bring in than anything else so I fear that even if I get all that information it's going to fall on deaf ears. I think this issue is going to fall both on the company and the driver because a driver should know to never log in as someone else, but I guess that might be just a plain assumption and I could be wrong
Falsifying logs

In your shoes I think I would take extra extra double redundant steps and paperwork trail to CYA!!
N00bLaLoosh, Rideandrepair and Littledreamer2224 Thank this. -
That definitely would be one way to get out. LolTheLoadOut and Rideandrepair Thank this.

I definitely plan on it. I'm getting additional information from a couple of the drivers that are willing to talk with me and work with me as I dig into this issue more, and I'm trying to save as much information to track this as much as possible because I really don't want this falling on my shoulders if I can't get out quick enough.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

@brian991219 does something similar to your job.
brian991219 and Littledreamer2224 Thank this. -
I hit send before I was done writing but that's okay. You already have a ton of good information from some of our members.
Your boss is looking for somebody to blame and throw under the bus when the inevitable trouble with DOT arrives.
Your boss has you figured for a gullible dummy. Don't prove him right. Get out. Soon.MACK E-6, Gearjammin' Penguin, bzinger and 2 others Thank this. -
I kind of had a feeling that's what you were getting at with your comment and I still 100% agree. I can tell you right now that the previous DOT person they had in my position had quite a bit more experience than me and I'm constantly being compared to that person and yet that person is the one that's been okay with the legalities of the things that I'm finding out now. I'm trying really hard to see what else is out there so I can get out of it before it comes down hard but in the meantime I still have to do what I can to help my drivers. Thank you for your input!
