I did both Dollar tree and a Dollar general and Dollar tree looked like that but Dollar general was carts loaded with product and they were heavy like 500 lbs. the trick was to rise the landing gear.

Here's the catch with Schneider national I been here 10 months I started as a team driver didn't like it after 2 months so I wanted to go solo but they told me I had to wait 6 months because why ever account you switch to you have to stay on or did 6 months which I never signed a contract to do so I just finished the 6 months teaming and went solo I been solo for 4 months and a dedicated position opened and I thought that would be great to get me home more often with my kid and this position rarely opens up and they told me when I first started that of a dedicated position open up I can go for it now their telling me I have to finish my 6 months solo to switch to the dedicated route which probably won't be open when I'm done , now this is ######## , if yo guys ever come to Schneider be prepared to stay stuck wherever you chose for 6 months

I don't have the patience for that. At least not for what these companies pay for the honor of doing it.

I went through that myself. Chicago didn't have any openings for local or x-town, so I choose a regional daily home hauling ocean containers. 4 months in, they had openings for local & x-town. I asked to move and was told the same thing, but in the mean time I made a lot of DBL friends and one of them went to a higher up and said she really needed me to do special assignments, so I was moved. (I was doing a lot of misc things by that time anyway. Things like recovering trucks, or recovering drivers who ran out of hours.)

Would you do it for .78 a mile and .8 per box unloaded per trailer?
