Wow, thanks for asking about us. The accident really shook my confidence of winter weather driving. I have been in so many situations that seemed worse and we plowed right through with no issues. We are very happy nobody else was involved and while Anne is hurting, I think she is going to be ok.
As for how I am doing, I spent the morning in the sunshine playing with two of grand daughters while watching my grandson play soccer. I would say I am doing just fine.

I can't speak for what it costs now but I did it a few years ago to finish out a trip and it was not cheap. $650 a week for a day cab or $750 a week for a sleeper truck, plus mileage. Plus 13 cents a mile and I talked them down to 11. From what I've read on here that was a real bargain that I got.

It was a plain jane cookie cutter 2011 Pro Star limited to 66 mph with low miles this was in late 2012.

@NoCoCraig I talked to insurance guy about rental on accident policy. Says they are very expensive compared to breakdown. And also harder to get when cargo policy is separate. But if you get itchy you can hop in my truck and move some trailers for me.
