I've been searching recently for another company to lease with. My current company pays .90 a mile plus FSC. Yeah, not too impressive. I've looked at Landstar and Schneider but don't like the big company feel.
I get home on weekends and live in Fort Worth TX. I'm wondering what kind of freight is available for me?

Hi Craig, was f2f your first O/O opportunity? I ask because we are looking at f2f but I may need some hand holding. We have been O/O before but it was one where the company took care of everything. Sign what they put in front of you and drive. In the words of Sargent Shultz
"I know nothing!"
What was your experience in starting out please? I spoke with Alex today and dropped your name and will make sure it goes on the application if we come on board. I like the hybrid model to help with the transition. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Orientation is more than just signing papers, and the whole point of the hybrid model is making sure you know what the hell you're doing before you're the one making the calls. I'll be attending another orientation soon to see how things are changing with this new system so I can answer questions like yours more accurately.

As I was once a company driver for Covenant transport, I cant really imagine a worse company to work for..they may exist but it would be a coin flip..
