    You were talking about "companies"... Yes, they help each other out of sticky situations all the time... Being a former Credit and Collections guy myself, I know first hand how we, myself and the company I worked for at the time, would work with companies doing business with us and it helped to develop strong relationships moving forward.

    So you might not wish to help someone out of a hole, but please don't think your view is the only one out there.

    The drivers sticking with @BigBadBill will help him get through this time and they will quite possibly have a much deeper and solid business relationship because of it.

    DieselDisciple and clausland Thank this.

    Threatening with letting the truth out about who you really are... Please don't blow his comments into "threats"... He didn't "threaten" you... He said to keep talking and he would discover who you were and then let the truth out.

    Yeah, some threat... LOL

    Here's part of the reason Bill is taking a beating. He was not afraid to publicize or pat himself on the back over his accomplishments. Whether it was his ideas, number of trucks signed on, or some award that was made up or given to F2F he was here for a round of applause. When you do that people are going to be ready to jump on you when things go south. It's the nature of the beast and you can't have it both ways.

    I hope the best for all parties involved. Why wouldn't I? There are people and families depending on this to work out.

    Well that's wonderful for you. Please remind me how I can pay my mortgage and put my kids through college based on my soild business relationships. Do I go to an atm and just withdraw it from my touchy Feely card? Or do care bears personally bring it in my sleep?
    This is business not friendships. Keep them separate. I'm sure bill will tell you that part of his issues probably come from not doing that and treating these guys as friends .
    I'm friendly with my clients and customers but not friendly enough that they can ask not to pay me.

    It's not wonderful for me... {shrug}

    I was just relating a personal experience where companies can and do work together for the mutual benefit of both sides... through tough times.

    I don't think anyone has asked not to pay anyone... Many within this situation admit slow pay and working to correct the current situation. If you are the type to cut and run on people you are in business with, that's totally up to you... Others work differently.

    That could be a solution if its not already on the table -- additional paid in capital... ICs on a solid financial footing could buy a piece of F2F -- in exchange, F2F gets the cash it needs and can get off factoring, raising profitability. Said ICs would also be especially invested in F2F's success.
