    Does F2F run much in CA? Do they assign loads, or do you find your own loads? We are sounding out options for next year... Our lease will be up, and we are going to try to purchase our truck... At least that's the plan right now... LOL!

    You Dispatch yourself. So you could run as often as you wanted into CA.

    Mmmm... I like the sound of that... I think :-/ .... Is there info on how? What to look for? Important questions to ask etc... We have only driven for Central and you guys know how much they teach someone... LOL!

    We use ITS sometimes, F2F has expedited freight which they bid on for us if we want to run expedited.


    After a being with F2F for a little over a year we have made some good contacts so we don't use a load board that often.

    That is honestly the key. We use web-based load boards like Internet Truck Stop also but you build relationships and work hard to have a good reputation. We have brokers now who have told us what freight they have on a regular basis and we know we can call and book those loads long before they ever hit a load board. We have also run f2f expedited loads and have done very well with those also. F2F has us pretty well set through the end of the year with great paying freight so until we head to the West Coast at Christmas, we will not even be looking at load boards.
