Are they set up to also let you "borrow" money for licenses, permits, insurance, major breakdowns, etc?

No sir, they are not in any way affiliated with Blaine's Farm and Fleet (not that I have ever heard of)

Farm2Fleet is in the trucking business, not banking.

If you have to utilize then as a bank, you have no business being an independent contractor/ owner operator/ businessman.

    I don't need a bank. I live debt free.

There were two things in mind when posting that. Notice the word borrow is in quotes.

    1. If you had short weeks, and things were due...or in your case; out something like 11 grand or more on repairs...do they front money and let you pay out on settlements?

It appears you have done well enough over time to stash away enough money for major repairs. Some companies recognize when a o/o is just starting to build their bank roll might need a "favor."

    2. If F2F did, it would be another perk. If not, thats ok too. Just trying to see what all you're percentage or rate gets you.

That clarification makes way more sense than your original post. Those were valid questions.

Well, I guess I am a trucker again. It was sure nice to turn the key last night and feel/hear that big beautiful red engine start up. As usual, the dealer tried to screw with us, I go to pick up the truck and the bill is $1,900 more than we agreed to. It took 45 minutes of calmly saying no before we got back to the original price. These guys drive me crazy.

I am going to make a short round trip as a shakedown cruise and then we will get to work on Monday. I have been going crazy not working.
