I've had the pleasure of meeting with Bill and having lunch and I can tell you he's just as down to earth in person as he is on these forums. Great guy... only wish I could get him to come work with me!

    #### what a week, we bought a total freaking lemon. Purchased 2009 Volvo 780 110 days ago and it has been in the shop for 30 of those days. I have spent over $11,000 in repairs and that does not include the many thousands of dollars the dealer has put in. This week just outside of Salt Lake City the turbo blew and an injector died losing major power, sputtering and leaking fuel into the oil. $6,000 out of pocket. Let me tell you, it kind of sucked.....for a while, then it really sucked when the truck broke down again just North of Houston. Fuel in the oil, oil pressure dropped and engine died. Fuel pushed oil out the dipstick and the whole left side of the truck is covered. Middle of the night so I could not see. Obviously the "injector" problem is not fixed. Let me tell you, good insurance with towing is darn important I have zero confidence in this truck so we decided to have it towed from Houston to Chattanooga. $5,500 towing bill mostly paid by insurance I dropped the truck off in the repair yard at the dealer on Saturday morning and we are going in tomorrow to see what they want to do with THEIR truck. Bill and Lauren (Farm2Fleet) have been awesome, as usual. We will be back up and running in a couple of days. A very relaxing weekend with friends and family was very much needed.

Wow. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Looks like the previous owner had the timing right to get out of this truck. Is it a Volvo engine? I know some of the D-13 had problems with the injector cups and there were several revisions to them. I guess owning the truck sure can have moments that suck the life right out of you. Hope all goes well and the light at the end of the tunnel is not the BNSF.

I'm sorry to hear. I wish nothing but the best for you guys. Have you thought of purchasing a Cascadia with the DD15 or another Pete 387??

That is a very good towing policy you have.

Get rid of this truck. It's been nothing but problems for you two.

I agree with the above poster about a Cascadia
