Properly working, I think there is so little restriction between the two based on the way the truck starts not using the FASS but with it in line vs using it, creates 14-22 psi which I have seen on the guage.
In consideration, normally one replaces the primary filter with the fass, they would be no difference in restriction.
I'm thinking of adding addition Davco filter system before the fass as I prefer the Davco as the primary filter.

I can be stubborn and a little thick at times. Without checking the actual restriction I would not make a statement. I may be confused but it sounds like you are measuring pressure somewhere.
On another subject, I THINK Mr. Haney said that he liked the characteristics of the primary filter shown in mtoo's post ahead of yours. -
Just wanted to put a picture of my FASS air dog set ip -
YO It cannot be a FASS and an Air Dog at the same time. It is either one or the other. Fuel Preporator, Air Dog and Charles Eckstam can all be used in the same sentence. FASS is a copy cat Fuel Preporator/Air Dog. Just sayin.

The air dog is a fass system (Fuel air separation system). Just saying

I am pretty sure that the people at FASS and at Pure Flow would not care to have someone using these terms in an interchangeable fashion. No offense intended. Sometimes when terms get used interchangeably the uneducated can get confused and misunderstand. Just my thought

@ THAT65
So you have tried the FASS? -
bigguns Thanks this.

That is exactly part of the point I was making.

As Jermey (From Air dog-Prue Flow) says, it is a fass.
Just can't beleive this is the argument. How about comments on the difference between the two?
