Only for those of use who subscribe the the "work smarter not harder" theory! It seems the "work harder not smarter" crowd is working in full force over here.

Rate must be too cheap. I'm not picking on you, but like Les said the only people that busy, especially in July are usually the cheapest guys on the block.
About your trailer. Have you priced having chain ties installed? If you haven't you should because by the time you pay for those so you can use a side kit, the slider price will look a lot better. -
Maybe its the lanes you run, or where you live, or the broker you use...my area is doing just fine, everything is not gold but I stay away from that. As I stated in my first post side kit with chain ties is $4,000 fast track is 12,500
SHC Thanks this. -

I've ran both setups and actually had the 2nd (or 3rd) Fastrac system the Tarpstop built. I'm sure they improved the system, but I liked it a lot as it was. There was only a couple of places that I would of improved on. The first being a way to open from the front without having to loosen the back securement. Another was the bearings and wheels. In the cold they rolled a lot harder and should be inspected off the trailer every year.
As for the side kits...great products, but depending on what you haul and the arch of the trailer water getting in can be a problem. Also some places (AK Steel Middletown, OH) required pulling 2 panels and stakes on both sides of the coil(s). Doing it for one coil wasn't so bad, but if you loaded 2 or 3 at one time that could take all the tarp caddies off the passenger side allowing the tarp to be a pain to throw back over. Also with doing multiple loads/stops daily things could be faster with a Fastrac. Personally for you I would suggest going with a side kit first and seeign how things go.
Just to show you I know what I'm talking about...my old truck and trailer is on the main page with its side kit (yellow Classic with a Reitnouer) and then in the Fastrak pics as #25 (same truack and trailer with the Fastrak installed). Tell Ken, Andy, and Craig that Torok said "Hi." LOLClasix1055 Thanks this. -
