Fatal Accident Caused By Puddle Filled Pothole

Again, misleading title, wasn't the semi that hit the pothole. Apparently, bump steer is a bitxx.

Its sad and unfortunate!

 

and with all the states under staffed or under funded, (monies being diverted to other special interests) the pothole season has already started.

 

I drive that particular onramp every day. Two lanes of 405 merge together just before merging onto I-5. Never noticed a big pothole there, thousands drive through there every day. Seems the F150 driver must have had very loose control for him to slam into the barrier and go into the path of the semi.

That being said, Oregon, and Portland especially have the lowest standards for road construction and maintenance I’ve ever seen. You know corruption has to be going on and someone is awash in easy money because very little makes its way to road improvement. After growing up in Washington it feels like living in a third world country in Portland metro area as far as roads.

 

If I were the one writing this, the title would have been ' Pickup Loses Control and Slams into Semi '.

 

So obviously, lawyers for the family of the deceased should be suing the state for hundreds of millions of dollars.
