Correct again those so called healthy protein bars are just candy bars in disguise.

I have yet to find an energy/protein bar I like and I have tried many, they all taste like chalk. Now anything made out of carob and yogurt is good.I also like raisins but they don't like me so I quit eating them.

If ya want to spend some money on Protein Powders get Gold Label. That's probably one of the best on the market right now.

I don't use it very often (like to eat regular food), maybe as recovery after an especially hard workout, but its good stuff.

Progenex isn't bad either but pricey.

Truck drivers are big boys and eat what they want. If you make healthy stuff, some will pitch it out on the ground at the first rest area they come to. Others will toss the unhealthy stuff.

Do what you think they'll enjoy and stick a note in with an email address, Facebook page, or phone number where they can give their own recommendations.

Now back to our regularly derailed thread already in progress.

No matter how nice someone tries to be, someone always takes a giant #### on it.

OP, give them whatever you want. It's the gesture that really counts. Just avoid stuff with nuts unless you know for sure no one is allergic. Saw that play out once, wasn't good.

Patty that wasn't directed at you. Don't know why it replied to you. Using my phone.
