It is when their warranty guy explains exactly what the extended warranty activation will cover, then handles scheduling and is the middle man with Detroit because it's their go to shop. Warranty is financed through FCC, so their warranty people are a liason in these matters when trucks are still covered

Right but they still own it until it's paid for, that's all I was saying.

They absolutely are, they finance and coordinate the activation of the extended warranty, when it comes to covered warranty work, shane treats that like he would a company truck. I was told months ago what was involved, so I planned my upcoming maintenance around this..... then not only are all services not preformed after being there all week, they don't even top off the oil and leave it a gallon low.

None of that matters, I'm paying for a service, part of buying and financing the warranty through them is getting support on warranty issues.

Like I said, not trying to pick a fight and I understand why you're not happy with Detroit.

And the new hires were happy to take the job at that pay. Now they are pissed because they could have gotten more. Sounds a lot like guys blaming brokers for freight rates.

I’d be pissed for several reasons just like BIGR is…one they left a mess and didn’t even have the courtesy of saying something about it then taking longer than originally expected then not even doing everything that was supposed to be done and not even topping off the fluids they said they would either…overall sound of service sucks and certainly needs to brought to attention.

@BigR I would definitely bring it to Shane’s attention. He can get with his POC at Detroit, and at least let them know of your displeasure. Will anything be done about it, who knows? Unfortunately in today’s society customer service, and pride of doing a job correctly is a thing of the past.

This is some of what the UAW is pissed with. Along with the lies and BS. Add that to the crappy equipment that breaks down, and the lower pay. I have quite a few friends who are striking right now. I’m with them. Just like us, they’re sick of getting the short end of the stick.
