FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Welcome to FCC, I actually live in Clover, SC and pay $100 a month to reserve a spot 3 miles from my house. Before that, I either parked at the Loves in Fort mill or the Flying J in Blacksburg, both 30 minutes from my house.

 

So for the third time in as many weeks, I’m back at the Detroit dealer in Omaha for the same issue. I’m going to start having my mail forward to this address. Shane and I are pretty positive it’s in the wiring harness, but the dealer has just been throwing parts at the problem instead of having to eat the cost of a new wiring harness. Hopefully this time the problem is actually fixed, I’m getting pretty frustrated being here every week.

 

Couldn’t agree more, no one trouble shoots anymore. Hooks up a computer or goes off a flow chart and follows the chart. I talked to the mechanic who’s working on it, he says he is going to correct the problem this time. I guess we shall see, but another wasted day with no revenue.

 

So they are replacing the ECM, won’t be ready until 10 or 11 pm, so I got a room and will pick it in the morning. Hopefully this fixes the issues I’ve been having.

 

Got the truck out of the Detroit dealer about 0930, hopefully the gremlins are taken care of, they replaced the ECM and the flux capicitor.
I picked a load up In Omaha going to Middlebury, Indiana. After I deliver this in the morning, I will pick up a load in Anderson, Indiana going to Topeka for a drop Saturday. And finally I will bounce to our drop yard in KCMO to pick up a preloaded trailer going to Nevada.
