broker load out of White Bluff (west of Crashville on 70) going to the Omaha area. Easy pick up and delivery. No idea if it’s regular or not

I mean ####!.. y'all want them to put socks and underwear in them too??!!... having a loaner available is a perk! ( one I wish I had right now as I'm drinking in a hotel).. so, making sure you have the supplies to do your job, if they're actually able to give you a temporary truck to keep you working.... that's kinda on you!!... it's called being a ####ing truck driver!! .. it's rare these days!

I at least had it scheduled... have had issues with a MIL light for the aftertreatment garbage for a couple months. Freightliner saw it twice in Dec and Jan, wasted half tank of fuel each time running regens clearing codes. Two weeks or less later it'd come back on. I was told there was an update Detroit hasn't released yet, so there's no fix, just run with it... starting noticing loss of power, then a major increase in DEF consumption, to the point of 1/2 tank every 1k miles!!... so I waited till I was due for an oil change and 300k service, has that done at FCC, then went to Detroit. When they get done it's going down the street to Freightliner to deal with a dome light issue that those ####ers have charged me twice before to fix, ain't ####ing paying this time!!!... getting everything done at one time, then having surgery in a couple weeks... after that ol Red gonna get rode like a rented mule for awhile!!

At least it’s still under warranty, getting an oil sample pulled during this service, previous samples showed signs of possible bearing wear, if that trend continues I will get the oil pan dropped and have the bearings inspected. That will play a major roll in what I decide to do in the coming months truck wise.

True... but that only helps with the aftertreatement garbage. The extended warranty doesn't cover leaks. And the Detroits love to leak from the pass through injector seals every 3-4 months!!... got 2 more of those being fixed, along with fighting Freightliner over #### they've already been paid for, then oil change, 300 k service, which included a new air dryer because when they went to disconnect the lines from mine it was seized up and broke!... all together I'm roughly estimating this "warranty " trip will end up costing around 3k... of course that isn't counting hotel expenses and lost revenue!.... that's truckin though right!!
