I had a professor that when speaking about life said “Live and learn” (No one is born knowing everything).
Yesterday while putting all my stuff back into the truck I found the truck batteries were completely dead! Spoke to Travis at the Fremont shop and he said that after turning off the main switch next to the driver side I also needed to turn off the refrigerator switch. Oooops!
“Live and learn”
But I’m telling this story to share how much I’m loving the way FCC does things! Five minutes into the conversation with Travis he said just call extension ### and they will help you; and sure enough 10 minutes later my problem was solved! They took care of everything !
This people are just outstanding!

Yes, we have great people here who know what they're doing and know how to run a trucking company. A well oiled machine here. It's great to be part of a great ORGANIZATION. McDaddy are you listening??Last edited: May 13, 2020

Ok catch up time. Last Friday was dropping in Fort Wayne, then back tracked to Lewisburg OH for a feed load going to Fremont NE. Dropped, got serviced and APU fixed and picked up in Sioux City IA headed to Plant City FL delivering tomorrow (Thurs) at 8am. They were gonna have me T CALL in Dalton GA, to get another driver back to FL, but they must have found him another load. Either way, I would have been fine.

Wow... that is a friendly place...

Rebelchick, I wish we could get you over here with us, but they don't hire from Virginia, as of yet. I did pick up in West Point at West Rock and would do it again. But, alas, I know you are caring for your mom and need to be with her. How about you Fin Fan? Very little northeast with us.
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
Has anyone pulled a Menards trailer from a Menards DC to one of their stores?
I have a day cab route tomorrow (hauling a load out and then bringing the empty back) !
My pre-plan 'was' to pick up in Lincoln NE in the morning and deliver in Ontario CA on Monday (I could be there on Saturday).
My DM (Ben) said that he could find me an extra load to fill in my time and he did just that.
Things are obviously slowing down but it's great to see FCC is doing whatever it takes to keep us moving.Last edited: May 13, 2020
