    That is technically true.

Evidently someone was checking your fuel receipts against your logs.

Yes that not working out part is what I've been seeing on those videos. As long as the people making the videos are telling the truth in them...holy crap there's a ton of stupid and lazy people that go into trucking! I'm happy to say I am neither of those lol.

Different angle here, I was considered management while I was training as I started just after the environmental inspired laws regarding training N such which got it past the union. I stared documenting the experience and rode along with each company driver which also expanded my practical experience and this was expanded to include training new hires about company procedures along with hand on training.

There were still two union driver trainers which was expanded when Matlack started taking the 'top' grads from existing driving schools by running them thru another 6 weeks of school while driving on an old airport runways pulling an old tanker half full of water.

The grads then came to my terminal for 30 days driving 4 trainers and myself doing actual company freight.

Due to our location near NYC company teams would run hard to be early so central would drop their deliveries on us and send them on their way so we had a bunch of pump off work delivering in the metro area; real test of skills.

Get back and run back out to a local tank farm to load something. Trainees took the van to the hotel every night.

That's training; not running team with a guy/gal with only a year or so behind the wheel.

First day with a new bunch we spent hours in the yard crawling around the various types of equipment then off to the railyard where we learned who could back up!
