Applied for the sun valley city driver apprentice. Only one close to me. Hopefully if I get in I’ll eventually try to move back down towards San Pedro or OC and one of the hubs down that way.

How do you like the gig? I'm sure there’s a lot more physical work involved vs other types of driving jobs but I know it’s worth it with FedEx. Would love to hear your experience.
I also meant to ask, I only have my CDL permit as it was a valid option to apply. Does FedEx do their own 3rd party testing or once they're done training you they have you go to the DMV?Last edited: Feb 26, 2021

Depending on location you can start at a higher tiered rate or even top rate to start. Drivers are hard to get and the company has to put a incentive out there in certain markets to attract drivers.
