Hey you're or were a road driver for fedex ?

 

What's the differrence about the two ?? Do u have more home time with fedex freight road ? Do u have to live near the hiring location .... thanks

 

I want to do that myself, but I would rather do daytime line haul. Thanks sharp. .

 

Hey mike yes we are both ready for this to happen , and it starts this Monday so let's see what happens ! I know one thing I hope its more freight to be delivered because with my transfer I'm back at the bottom .

 

Okay I will be doing linehaul this week , which is a good sign for me since I'm at the bottom of the list . So let's keep this freight moving fedex . Would rather not do it in a on coming ice storm but I will keep it slow and safe. Good luck drivers ...

 

Okay did a linehaul run to harrisburg,pa last night , haven't hooked up a set in a couple of years. Let's begin ! I get to my terminal go get a truck ( I have never driven a kenworth ) I get in the truck and tap the accelerator , the truck starts to buck ( power ) . This truck has a lot of it !!! Lol . I finally hook my set up after about 40 minutes ( don't judge me ) Lol. So I go to pull out and the set won't move so I check my lines and there's no air leak so I try it again !! Nothing !!! . I forgot to open the air valve on my first trailer , problem solved I get to moving. I get to harrisburg , pa and its crowded up there trucks everywhere. I finally drop my set in each set zone . I go back to the office and see dispatch some lil pimply mofo who tells me to hook up a set of mtys to take back . So I hook up the set and go back to the office so I can be dispatched . I give the guy my trailer numbers and my dolly number and he says that I have a load going back , WTF !!!! I told u had me hook up a set that now I have to drop and hook up another set !!! He says ur confusing me !! Really !!! I leave and start to hook up my second set , okay now I go to hook my set up and when the dolly goes under my last trailer it unlocks and now is stuck under my trailer !! Okay I pray to god to help me out and I raise the trailer up with the crank arm to release some pressure off the dolly so I finally pull the dolly out ( THANK YOU GOD ) was my exact words . I hook up and go home !!! Day number two of the merge and me at a new terminal.
