Well everything has been sorted out for the most part. They were having trouble with the amount of freight coming in since other terminals have closed so the problem isn't that there's not enough freight it's more freight then expected. I'm at the bottom of the list and I work every day and it's the slow season. I would hop on it because its a good time to get on.

My terminal is looking for a road driver now because of the increase in freight going and coming from hagerstown md.
-
And my terminal is talking about laying off 20-30 drivers because they may bypass us with the economy freight. So, like I said, depends where your at
-
I heard nhs is better now but most of the fedex freight terminals didn't realize how national had so much freight. But yeah it depends on the location.
-
I don't know if it's that they had so much freight, it's that they stuffed it into so few economy hubs. Out city guys say they don't pick up much economy at all.
Since the merge, pretty much all I've done is layover at NHS. It's sad that there can be 5-6 of us at the motel and the dispatchers there haven't a clue. Then they throw together some via to get us back home or we pull out with mty's behind a purchase truck going in the same direction. It's still a mess, just not as crowded.
Last time I was there, they dispatched a guy to the rail yard with an mty to get another mty. The driver just shrugged his shoulders and left..LMAO!! -
Lmao I was up there about three weeks ago maybe more and they us take an extra gut up there with us so they can work the dock. Then I was in hagerstown where they keep u all day waiting for a load going back. I worked for national before the merger and we stayed busy all year round. I transferred to another terminal and been going thru it. But I still work! !!!! By summer everything should be in order.

I think I'm gonna stay where I am for the time being. I'm a little concerned that with 2 minor preventables against me, neither DOT reportable, in the last 2 1/2 years, I really don't have too much of a chance for this job. I'm also kind of concerned that if my current employer gets wind of me looking at this that I could wind up without a job.

Good. Luck
