Sorry to bug you again BigRon. I'm still waiting for the call from Fedex, making me wonder now. What do you typically do during your shift? I applied for City Driver and they told me that my shift would be 6 PM to 2 AM.

With that shift you'll be working the dock with a chance to get out and maybe do some swaps or road/shuttle runs if they're busy.

Thanks, Sgreer, gotta love the dock work but it all pays the same. I do know that they are shorter than heck on driver's so we'll see what happens.

It's all good. Still have't heard back so wondering if it's just taking so long because of the amount of people they hired. There were three guys taking the road test when I took it and they all went over to take the drug test too.

Maybe but after my road test and dot physical it took another two or three wks to get started , they want u to work but I'm quite sure that all of ur employment dates have to match up before they send ur packet off to safety for approval . I don't know who reviews it. But that was my hold up too at the time , if u read back at the begginning of this I asked the same questions lol .

I'm just trying to figure out the time lines. I should be used to it though, when I got hired on at Express that had me do everything and then brought me on four months later.

LOL.. You need to get on the road and run the LTL hub hell off exit 61A which is RT 10 East... FedEx turns right and we turn left. Both of us get to fingerprint all the cheap Southern junk freight for 3-5 hours before we have to run back up 95 in morning traffic.. There's a few FedEx drivers that run down there from the Philly and Harrisburg areas that I've gotten to know pretty well. Good dudes.. I like seeing FedEx Freight's on the road - till they smoke me..lol..
