It is not official until you sign the offer letter.

FedEx will pay you hourly while on education. They catch will be that you need to sign a paper stating that if you leave within a year, you will pay some money back for training.

Any hour on education is on the clock. Driver apprentices work 4/10s (except California they work five days), so you should expect to work up to ten hours at whatever they're starting you for four days four/five weeks.

For me, it was Monday through Saturday, starting at 6am until we finished (up to 14 hours later of course.). Usually we got out of there around 2pm.

**oops, that's for Schneider. Hope that's what you were asking about!

...and that is if you pass every week. They will grade you every day. It is really easy if you know how to drive, but do not take it for granted. If you do not meet the minimum requirements you are done. The program is a four week course but depending on the student, they can extend it to five or six weeks.

Be open to learning and you should be fine.
