As others have said, as far as FXF is concerned, the management and morale can depend on the terminal (service center) you're working in. Denver is one of the biggest hubs in the system and I had heard a lot of good things about working there while I was with the company. A few guys I worked with had transferred there. I, on the other hand, worked at one of the worst terminals for management and morale.
Choose wisely, and good luck.Wvuguy and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this. -
Honestly, I can't even tell you. I forget. I'm sure your manager will be happy to enlighten you. It's really not an issue unless you run the truck when you shouldn't be running it.
Most drivers have issues with rpm with the ROI. Overspeeds and idles aren't as common. Usually rpms become an issue when drivers are going beyond 1500 to pull a hill on a frequent basis. Some guys just drive the truck and accept they're gonna get called in the office routinely. I guess it depends how flexible your manager is. I don't know of anytime that anybody was given disciplinary action or a write-up for any of this stuff.EphTrucker and darthanubis Thank this. -
I do know FedEx is absolutely awful about gate times.
