The have a DDC program called Driver apprentice. Driver development course. You need safe record and 1+ current class A experience or need to go through this class WHEN they are hiring for it. You can apply for city or Driver possition. With experience or apprentice with none and they will even get you your cdl.

 

Just because you have a baby sitter it doesn't make you ' safe '

 

Just took my 30 minute break . Time for this Fedex contractor to blow the doors off them city drivers

 

Typical comment from a contractor making other safe drivers look bad.

 

You're dogging the contractors from your own company . Like a eight year old kid saying look at me I'm the GOOD ONE give me a star . Lol . Weak sauce .

 

From what I just heard out of the Hutchins hub is they are turning all the trucks down to 65 mph. And if you have an accident and the data shows the truck was moving faster than 65 / goodbye contract .

 

I think there are bad drivers every where not just Fedex . It's those bad drivers that make the good drivers look bad . All you see is that big sign going down the road . I don't think there is any company out there that don't have bad drivers . After being out there since the 80's I've seen quite a bit of accidents mostly caused by people not paying attention to what they are doing . If the shoe fits wear it!

 

Do you know if they send you off to the DMV or do they have a certified examiner there?

 

When the instructor thinks you are ready he or she will put you in the road test list with a trooper.

 

I agree fed ex drivers are the worse. I always smile when i see them in the ditch. One less maniac on the road. They always in the ditch fliped over on i35 or i80 between Minneapolis and Omaha. Slightest snow fall and ur guaranteed to see atleast on fed ex with dbles down for the count.
