    The Tags for the truck are lost or something. They gave me this with 88K on the clock, non smoking and as far as I’m concerned, a much more comfortable truck to drive. Remember, I put 775K on 2 different KW’s at the other joint and enjoyed those trucks better than any truck I drove.

    This area reminds me of Hunts Point in the 80’s. Never stopped at a red light going to the market. I can see me doing the same thing here at 2am.

    Same with freight terminals. Running the system at Estes if you didn’t know where a terminal was, just head for downtown. Soon as you saw liquor stores with bars on the windows, streetwalkers and crackies wearing winter coats and stocking hats in July pushing shopping carts, rest assured you were getting close!

    My partner was filling in and doing a solo run to Memphis for a few months. If she was dispatched out with empties she’d wait for the team to show up so she could hook and not worry about losing her empty set. If they were loaded she’d just go to bed. Last summer she was sleeping bobtail in Memphis and when she got up someone had taken the flaps off the back of her truck, hangers and all. Unbolted the whole works. Of course those inside said they couldn’t see anything on the cameras because of where she parked.
