    Anyone know if owner op are forced dispstched? I see a lot speeding and i dont speed. Esp in snow and rain. Not sure how strict they are for these things

    its not really forced dispatch.

    you get on a designated run, you're expected to run it 5 days a week, 4 weeks a month, 12 months a year.

    if the weather is too bad to safely drive, you simply tell your contractor you dont feel safe and they cant force you to drive, but you better have some justification like a weather warning and a link, a road closure or something to backup why you think its not safe.

    That is correct. I driver the owner ops truck.

    But we actually have a pretty cool owner op because he is going to get his CDL and wants to drive every route he has so he knows what we go through and all the elements and variables and different situations.

    I like having a boss like that. I get to help train him which is pretty nifty.
