I have a quick question… Is there anyone here who works for ups if so.. if I apply for a feeder position would I start as a sleeper team or would I be in a daycab?

In michigan from what I know from my center you have to start as teams
LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -

Depends where your location is.SidewaysBentHalo, LtlAnonymous and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.

Thanks for the @. It depends on the center and their needs. Going on sleeper teams ensures that you'll stay working, even when it gets slow. On daycabs there are no guarantees.
But of course, you'll sleep in your bed every night, which...can't say I blame you. Lol you just might be sleeping in that bed a little more than you want (not working).
Can they FORCE you on teams? Depends on the local contract language. By me, no they cannot. But it could be different by you.SidewaysBentHalo, MartinFromBC and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
They are always hiring for teams by me in Hodgkins, IL.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.

That's a crazy large terminal. It's shocking when they send me there. LolTexas_hwy_287 Thanks this.

Here in Michigan they desperately need teams in grand rapids. I would consider it, but it's a 2 1/2 hour drive from my house.
LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
That's a rough commute, even a couple times a week for teams. But...it's worth it financially.

It's really tempting. But idk if my 2002 aztek can handle the long journeys anymore lol. But at my current center it could take 30+ years to get a local feeder gig.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.
