Yeah, not all centers are the same as far as advancement opportunities. It can suck.

it's a big bummer. Been at my current center for 2 years and it's mostly package cars which is also a struggle. even with the 22.4 bid. Still tempted on grand rapids since the money can get me a better vehicle. Just don't wanna get screwed over with a partner that doesn't take care of himself

You must be on 294 and 80/94 a lot then. How fun!

I personally wouldn’t want to deal with a 2 1/2 commute every day, but for a deal where you’re out during the week and home on weekends it might be somewhat tolerable.

Even if they "force" you on PSST, its worth it.

Its a dicey call. That commute just eats into the off time. The flip side is if that center offers 3 or 4 day out scenarios it could be worth it.

Could be work 3 and off 4, depending on the run. But we're headed into peak season, so don't count on that much time off. Lol

I'm definitely not ready for peak season in the warehouse again lmao. I talked to a guy today that left our center for sleeper teams earlier this year. I guess he has sat-sun off and works mon-fri. But from the sounds of it they get you back to the yard earliest as they can on friday. In the end I've also been studying for my doubles/triples endorsement because the warehouse after two years is getting the best of me lol
