That's real trucking right there. I don't care what anyone says. The skill level needed in that line of work is much more than motoring down a 4 lane paved highway.

Let him drive through Atlanta at 4:30 And deliver to some of those old warehouses meant for 40 foot trucks.1951 ford and snowman_w900 Thank this.

Pick your poison I suppose....
I could certainly identify with backing the truck under the... whatever that was.... with some of the shoehorning I have to do, but I’m doing that on pavement.1951 ford, Oxbow and Trucking in Tennessee Thank this. -
Oil & gas drilling rig substructure. The derrick sits on top. Sometimes the draw-works (drilling line), motors, mud pumps, etc., can also up there, but that is a small sub, likely only a double (can stand sections of drill string two-at-a-time in the derrick).
Big ones get moved in sections. On Alaska's North Slope and in the Middle East some rigs have wheels on the sub to move them.
Here's how they move the heavy stuff off the floor before moving the sub (old school, REALLY frowned up these days... especially if the safety man graduated from college and isn't missing a few fingers
)
