Yes they have training. You can also search this forum for quicker answers. Is there paid cdl training for felons?

OK, couple ways to do this for paid training.
Google : WIOA Program (your state name). I'm assuming it's either North Carolina or South Carolina. The WIOA Program is a state funded program that will pay for private cdl school.
Another way is to apply to trucking company cdl schools. Your felony is pretty old, so you have a chance for this one. Do some online applications before any phone calls though. When you do call, say, "I'm checking on my application for cdl training."
Apply at these companies for cdl training:
Stevens Transport - two schools in North Carolina.
Celadon
Carolina Logistics
Swift
Schneider (hair follicle drug test)
CRST
Millis Transfer
Apply to all of them. Stevens Transport has the nicest trucks & set up for driver comfort.Last edited: Sep 13, 2017
